Furlong, PA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/04/2017 -- Montessori Development Center is pleased to announce that enrollment for full-day kindergarten in 2017-18 is now open. Spaces in their class are currently available. Parents can download a form found on their website or call them a call.

This full-day class is in contrast to the local public school program, which only offers a half-day program. Another perk is that students who live in Central Bucks County can take a school bus to their location.

Parents who wish to get a closer look at Montessori Development Center are encouraged to reserve a space for this program's Open House, which takes place the third Thursday of every month from 10 am to 11 am.

Since 1990, Montessori Development Center has been offering quality child development by using the innovative teaching methods developed by education pioneer Dr. Maria Montessori. This program focuses on independence, concentration, sense of order and coordination to address a child's full development academically, mentally, physically and emotionally.

Montessori Development Center focuses on tactile learning aspects such as art, cooking, science, yoga and library time, unlike a typical public school kindergarten program. This teaching style goes beyond what students would receive in a traditional kindergarten class and helps children grasp not only concrete thought but also abstract. They strive to allow children to experience the excitement of learning and help them develop the natural tools for learning.
